Okay, so I wanted to figure out what the weather’s usually like in Ruidoso, New Mexico in March. I’ve been thinking about maybe taking a trip, and I always like to know what I’m getting into, weather-wise.

First, I just did a simple search, you know, typed in “weather in Ruidoso in March”.
The top results gave me the basic info pretty quickly. It seems like March is kind of a mixed bag, weather wise. I saw that the temperatures are usually somewhere between 35 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s like, 2 to 18 Celsius, I think. So, not super warm, but not freezing cold either.
Digging a Little Deeper
It also mentioned that it can be a “moderately chilly and slightly windy”.
- Chilly: That told me I definitely need to pack some layers.
- Slightly windy: I make sure to take a windbreaker.
I wouldn’t plan any picnic.
So, basically, I’m thinking I’ll pack jeans, some long-sleeved shirts, a sweater or two, and a decent jacket. Oh, and my windbreaker!
