Alright, so I wanted to get some really cool pictures of Paris at night. You know, the kind that makes you go “wow.” So, I grabbed my camera and started planning.

Getting Started
First, I needed to figure out where to go. I mean, Paris is huge! I did some digging online, looking at other people’s photos and reading some blog posts. I made a list of the spots that seemed the most promising:
- Eiffel Tower (obviously!)
- Louvre Museum
- Notre Dame Cathedral
- Along the Seine River
- Montmartre
Next, I checked the weather. I really good photos,so I need find good weather. Cloudy days can be okay, but a clear night is best for those sparkling city lights. I picked a night that looked promising.
The Shoot
I packed my camera bag with my trusty camera, a couple of different lenses (a wide-angle one and a zoom lens), and my tripod. The tripod is super important for night shots because you need long exposures to get enough light.
I started at the Eiffel Tower, arriving there. The city lights started. It was amazing! I played around with different angles, trying to get the whole tower in the frame and also capturing some close-up details. I used my wide-angle lens for most of these shots.
After the Eiffel Tower, I walked along the Seine River. The reflections of the lights on the water were beautiful. I used my tripod to set up some long exposure shots, which made the water look smooth and dreamy.

I spent a few hours wandering around, taking pictures of the Louvre, Notre Dame (even though it’s still under construction, it’s still impressive at night), and some of the charming streets in Montmartre.
Processing the Photos
Once I got home, I was so excited. And uploaded all the photos to my computer. I use a program to edit my photos – it’s good for adjusting brightness, contrast, and colors.
I spent some time tweaking the photos, making sure the colors looked right and the details were sharp. I didn’t want to overdo it, though. I still wanted them to look natural.
I’m really happy with how the photos turned out. They really capture the magic of Paris at night. I got some of the most beautiful photos!
