Okay so yesterday I totally freaking wanted to watch Tiger Woods on Jimmy Fallon. Heard everyone talking about it online, like, Tiger doing stuff and Jimmy laughing his head off. Figured it would be fun, right? Needed to see it.
My Totally Simple Starting Point
So first, obviously, I just grabbed my phone. Went straight to YouTube. Searched “Tiger Woods Jimmy Fallon Full Show Tonight” or something like that. Boom. A ton of videos popped up. Clicked on the first few that looked promising. Annnd… nothing. Just clips. Short little bits. Felt totally lame. Where was the whole thing?
Digging Deeper Than I Expected
Alright, fine. Time to get slightly smarter. Typed in the exact title I knew from the news: “Tiger Woods Jimmy Fallon”. Still got mostly clips and news reports about him being on the show. Super frustrating. Went down a weird rabbit hole of articles that basically just said, “Hey, he was on Fallon!” Great, thanks for nothing.
Finally remembered that actual TV shows, especially big ones like Fallon, usually air on… you know… TV networks? Or their own official streaming stuff. Ding ding ding! NBC. The Tonight Show is on NBC.
Finding the Official Sources
Went straight to the NBC website. Started hunting around. They have a section for shows, found The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Scrolled through the episodes. Bingo! There it was: the episode with Tiger Woods as the guest. Looked promising.
- Click Play: Hit the play button… and it just sat there.
- Prompt: Then a message popped up: “Please sign in with your TV provider.” Ugh.
- Frustration Mode: Like, come on! I don’t have a cable login handy right this second!
Remembered that NBC stuff also shows up on their streaming app, or that big one everybody uses for live TV… Peacock! Yeah. Opened Peacock on my streaming stick.
Found The Tonight Show page. Scrolled through the recent episodes. After a bit of hunting, yes! Tiger’s episode was listed right there. It even showed the date it aired originally.
Finally Getting It To Work
Clicked on the episode thumbnail. Started playing perfectly. No cable login crap needed. Just clicked and boom. It was the full interview, Tiger chatting with Jimmy, the whole thing. Picture was clear, sound was good. Felt like a win!
What Actually Worked For Me
So here’s what I figured out the hard way:
- Forget random YouTube searches for full episodes. Got me nowhere fast.
- Clips are everywhere, but finding the actual full segment with Tiger? Official source only.
- The NBC website DOES have it, but you likely need a TV login. Annoying if you don’t have one handy.
- Peacock is the easiest way. It’s NBC’s own service. Just open the app, find The Tonight Show, scroll to the right date/episode with Tiger, and click.
- Seriously, Peacock just worked. No mess, no fuss.
So yeah, learned my lesson. Next time I want to see something on a big late-night show fast and easy? Check their official streaming app first. Made it way less stressful than scrolling and getting angry! Just watched Tiger and Jimmy like I wanted to. Easy once you know the trick. Go Tiger!
