Man, oh man, the journey I’ve had with Ripple and UFC, it’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.

First off, I stumbled upon this thing called Ripple. It’s all about digital money, right? But it’s not just any digital money, it’s this XRP thing. I was like, “What the heck is XRP?” So, I did what any curious person would do – I dug in. Found out that Ripple is this company, and they use XRP in their network to make transactions smoother. Apparently, they have these servers that check and agree on transactions, making it all secure and stuff.
I learned that even though XRP is decentralized, it’s kinda tied to Ripple, the company. And get this, Ripple makes money by selling XRP, and they also earn from fees and investments. It’s like a whole ecosystem they’ve got going on there.
Then, I wanted to get my hands on some XRP. I discovered that you could buy it, even in Australia, using something called Chillur. It seemed pretty straightforward. Create an account, use your email and password, and boom, you’re in.
Now, while I was figuring out this whole Ripple thing, I also got into UFC. Yeah, I know, it seems unrelated, but bear with me. I wanted to dive deep into the UFC world, watch some fights, and understand what the fuss was all about. I found out that they have a ton of content on their YouTube channel and something called UFC Fight Pass. You can watch old fights, like way back to UFC 1. It was like stepping into a time machine of martial arts.
- Got into Ripple and XRP.
- Learned about how Ripple works and makes money.
- Found a way to buy XRP using Chillur.
- Started exploring UFC content.
- Discovered UFC Fight Pass for historical fights.
So, I signed up for a UFC Fight Pass subscription. It’s like Netflix, but for UFC. I started binge-watching fights, getting a feel for the different fighters and styles. It was addictive, to say the least.

Connecting the dots, I realized that both Ripple and UFC are all about being part of something big, a community. With Ripple, it’s the world of cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance. With UFC, it’s the global community of fight fans. Both have their own lingo, their own way of doing things.
And the wallets, oh boy. Ripple wallets are basically two lines of text. I used a free Ripplepay account to get into this game, following some guides. It felt like unlocking a secret level in a video game. On the UFC side, I had my Fight Pass account, my gateway to all the action.
In a nutshell
I started with zero knowledge about Ripple and ended up buying XRP. At the same time, I went from a UFC newbie to a Fight Pass subscriber, soaking in all the history and excitement of the sport. It’s been a journey of learning, exploring, and becoming part of two very different, but equally fascinating, worlds.
This whole experience has been a blast. I’ve learned a ton, met some cool people online, and found new ways to spend my time and money. Who knew that digital currency and mixed martial arts could be so interesting? Not me, that’s for sure. But here I am, sharing my story, hoping someone else finds it as cool as I did.
