How to Gagaga Magician XYZ Summon From Either Graveyard Like a Pro

Must read

Hey everyone, it’s your boy here, and today I wanna talk about something that’s been bugging me for a while – getting that Gagagaga Magician out on the field from either graveyard. Yeah, you heard that right, from either side! It’s like a magic trick, but with more card games and less rabbits in hats.

So, first, I grabbed my deck and started digging into the rules. I read somewhere that “Gagagaga Magician” is basically the Xyz version of the regular “Gagaga Magician,” so that’s a good start. I needed to get that and its buddy, “Gagaga Girl,” either in my hand or chilling in the graveyard.

Then it was time to get my hands dirty. I played a few rounds, trying to get the right cards into the graveyard. After a few tries, I finally managed to dump both “Gagagaga Magician” and “Gagaga Girl” into the graveyard. Felt pretty good, not gonna lie.

Next up, I needed a way to bring them back. I remembered seeing something about “Gagagarevenge,” “Gagagawind,” and good ol’ “Monster Reborn.” So, I shuffled through my deck, and lucky me, I drew “Gagagarevenge.”

  • I slapped that “Gagagarevenge” down and targeted both “Gagagaga Magician” and “Gagagaga Girl.”
  • Boom! They both popped back onto the field, ready to rock.

But here’s where the real magic happens. “Gagagaga Magician” can be summoned with two Level 4 monsters, so I used them to detach one material, then targeted one other Xyz Monster in the graveyard.

Activated its effect, and bam! Special summoned another Xyz Monster straight from the graveyard. Sure, its effects were negated, but who cares? I got a monster from the graveyard onto the field!

Experimenting with “Gagaga Caesar”

I also tried a little something with “Gagaga Caesar.” I banished a Level 7 monster from my graveyard using Caesar’s effect, then changed its level to 7 to match. This let me Xyz Summon “Gagagaga Magician” pretty easily.

Teaming up with “Gagaga Girl”

And you know what’s even cooler? “Gagagaga Magician” can change its level to 7. This means if you pair it up with “Gagaga Girl,” you can pull off a Rank 9 Xyz Summon. That’s some serious power right there!

I played around with this a bit, and it’s pretty slick. I even managed to special summon “Mermail Abyssmegalo” and “Mermail Abyssleed” by changing “Gagagaga Magician” to Level 7. It opens up a whole bunch of new plays.

So, there you have it. It took some trial and error, but I finally figured out how to get “Gagagaga Magician” out from either graveyard and even pull off some fancy Xyz Summons. It’s all about getting those “Gagaga” monsters where they need to be and then using the right spells and effects to bring them back. Keep practicing, and you’ll be summoning from the graveyard like a pro in no time!

Hope this helps you out on your own dueling adventures. Catch you guys next time!
