Okay, so I’ve been playing this “World of Warcraft: Dragonflight” game lately, and let me tell you, riding those dragons is pretty darn cool. But, you know what’s even cooler? Changing how your dragon looks! Yeah, you can totally customize your dragon, make it look all fierce or majestic, whatever you fancy.
So, how do you do this? Well, it took me a bit to figure it out, but basically, you gotta find these things called Rostrums of Transformation. Think of them like a barber shop, but for your dragon. When I first got the ability to ride a dragon, I wanted to customize it right away!
- Finding the Rostrums: You can’t just do it anywhere. You gotta find these special platforms, the Rostrums. I just flew around until I stumbled upon one, honestly.
- Getting Close and Clicking: Once you find one of these Rostrums, you just fly your dragon close enough, and you’ll see an option to interact with it. Click on that, and boom, you’re in the customization screen!
- Playing Around with Options: I spent a good chunk of time here, just messing with all the different options. There are tons of ways to change how your dragon looks. They even have some quests from dragonriding trainers that teach you more about this, which was kind of helpful.
And get this, once you unlock a customization option, it’s unlocked for all your characters! So, you don’t have to go through the whole process again on your other toons. I learned that after unlocking Dragonriding, and it’s a real time-saver.
Also, I noticed you can actually move to a different “layer” in the game by joining a party with someone who’s on a different layer. Each of these layers has different customization stuff. So, if you’re really into making your dragon look unique, you might want to explore the different layers.
What I did
First time I did this, I went for a real menacing look for my dragon. Made him all dark and scaly. But then I found some other options, and now he’s got this cool, regal vibe going on. It’s pretty sweet. It’s super fun to personalize your dragon. That’s what they say about it in the game. I totally agree, it’s a blast! There are four dragons, and each has a bunch of different looks.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure in dragon customization in “Dragonflight.” It might seem a bit tricky at first to find those Rostrums, but once you do, it’s a whole lot of fun changing up your dragon’s look. Happy customizing, folks!
