Okay, so the other day, I was trying to sneak in some Fortnite games without my buddies knowing. I mean, sometimes you just want to play solo, right? So I started looking into how to appear offline in Fortnite. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as hard as I thought it’d be.
First, I opened up the game. Then, I went to my friend’s list. You know, the usual spot where you see who’s online and ready to play. I started poking around there. I clicked on my own profile name at the top of the list.
- Clicked on my profile.
- Looked for some kind of setting.
And there it was! A little dropdown menu with options like “Online,” “Away,” and the one I was looking for: “Offline.” I couldn’t believe how simple it was.
Appear offline
I clicked “Offline,” and bam, I was invisible. Just like that, I could play without anyone knowing I was on. It was pretty cool, to be honest. I played a few games, enjoyed some solo time, and it was all good.
But here’s the thing – Fortnite is an online game. There really isn’t an offline mode. So, when I say “offline”, that means I appeared offline to my friends. I was still playing online, of course. I couldn’t play totally offline – no game to play, you know?
Anyway, that’s how I managed to appear offline in Fortnite. It’s a neat little trick if you want some alone time in the game. Just remember, you’re not actually going offline in the game – you are just hiding from your friends.
