Alright, so I finally got around to diving into the Lightfall Legendary Campaign, and let me tell you, it was a grind, but those rewards? Totally worth it.

First things first: I picked my class, a Hunter, because I’m all about that invisibility life, makes things a whole lot easier, especially when you’re outnumbered and outgunned, which, let’s be real, is pretty much the whole campaign on Legendary.
The Setup: I went in with a decent build, nothing too crazy. I focused on survivability and damage output. A void build with stylish execution. The key here is to not get cocky. Play it slow, use cover, and don’t be afraid to fall back. Seriously, there were a few times I almost rage-quit, but I took a deep breath and re-strategized.
The Grind: Each mission was a freakin’ challenge. Those extra enemies, the beefed-up health bars, and the constant threat of getting one-shotted? It was intense. I spent a lot of time peeking around corners, picking off enemies one by one. Teamwork is essential, if you are in a fireteam. My fireteam and I had to coordinate our attacks and revives, and communicate enemy positions. If you’re solo, then double down on your survivability and use those grenades and class abilities wisely.
Specific Encounters:
- The first mission: I spent a solid hour just trying to get past the first big firefight. It was all about finding the right cover and using my abilities to create openings.
- Later mission with the Tormentors: Those guys are straight-up nightmares. I ended up using my super almost exclusively on them, just to burn them down as quickly as possible.
- The final boss fight: Let’s just say I died a lot. I had to change my strategy multiple times. I had to use a sniper rifle and just kept chipping away at its health while dodging attacks.
The Rewards: Okay, so after all that pain and suffering, what did I get? Well, you get a full set of 1770 power level gear, which is a huge boost if you’re under-leveled. It skips the whole soft cap nonsense, and immediately makes you much stronger. You also get an exotic armor piece. And, of course, the sweet, sweet feeling of accomplishment. Completing a legendary campaign solo is something to be proud of.

Tips and Tricks:
- Play defensively: Don’t be afraid to hide and regenerate your health.
- Use your abilities: Grenades, supers, and class abilities are your best friends.
- Focus fire: Coordinate with your teammates to take down enemies quickly.
- Don’t give up: It’s tough, but it’s doable. Just keep trying and learning from your mistakes.
Overall, the Lightfall Legendary Campaign was a challenging but rewarding experience. If you’re looking for a tough test of your skills, I highly recommend it. Just be prepared to die a lot.
I hope my experience helps you out if you decide to take on the challenge, good luck out there, Guardians!
