So, I wanted to catch a Warriors game the other day. I’m not a huge basketball fan, but they’re just so fun to watch, you know? Anyway, I started by looking up their recent games. Found out they’ve been pretty evenly matched with the Dallas team, winning about half of their last ten games. The last one was a win for the Warriors, 120 to 117, back on November 12th. Pretty close game!

Then I dug into how to actually watch a game. I found out they were playing the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center, and it was going to be on TNT. That was a good start, but I don’t have cable.
Next, I checked out which streaming services show Warriors games. Turns out, DIRECTV STREAM, YouTube TV, and Hulu + Live TV are the best bets. They all carry the channels you need. I also learned that fuboTV is an option, but there might be some regional restrictions. I didn’t really want to deal with that.
- Tried YouTube TV first since I already use YouTube a lot. They have a free trial, so that was cool.
- Also checked out the NBC Sports app. Apparently, you can stream the games there if they’re on NBC Sports Bay Area, but you need to authenticate it.
- Finally, I looked at Hulu + Live TV. It seemed pretty straightforward – log in, and you get access to live games on local and regional sports networks, plus national ones like ABC and ESPN.
In the end, I went with YouTube TV. The free trial was a big plus, and it seemed like the easiest option. I signed up, and boom, I was watching the game! It was a good one, too.
It took a bit of digging to figure it all out, but it was worth it. Now I know how to catch Warriors games whenever I want. Pretty neat, right?
