Okay, guys, let’s talk about this “Holy Lance Helm” thing I bumped into the other day. I was messing around in the game, just exploring and stuff, when I decided to check out this place called Rosymorn Monastery. I was like, “Why not? Might find something cool.”

So, I climbed all the way to the top, you know, typical adventure stuff. And guess what I found? A painted chest. Now, I’m not one to pass up a good chest, so I opened it up, and boom! There was this helmet, the Holy Lance Helm. I equipped it right away because, well, new gear is always exciting, right?

Find the thing
First of all, I gotta say, getting this thing felt like hitting the jackpot. Just stumbling upon it, totally unexpected. I think if I go to Rosymorn Monastery, I can find it.

Equip the Helm
After getting the thing, I just put it on my character right then and there. It felt right, and I was eager to see what it could do.

Test it out
Now, the fun part. I started getting into fights, letting enemies take a swing at me. And let me tell you, this helmet is something else. Whenever these bad guys missed their attacks, they had to roll a Dexterity saving throw. And if they failed? Zap! They got hit with 1d4 radiant damage. It was like my character was surrounded by this divine light, smacking anyone who couldn’t land a hit. It was wild, watching them get zapped because they couldn’t hit me.

Figure out the deets
This “Smite the Graceless” thing, that’s what it’s called when enemies miss and get zapped. I figured it out by just watching what happened in battles. And I noticed it said something about Shar’s sigil on the helmet. I’m not big on lore, but that sounded pretty significant.

Realize the potential
I started thinking, this helm is perfect for my melee guys, you know, the ones always in the thick of it. Paladins, Fighters, they’d love this. Even Druids and Rangers could get a kick out of it. I mean, dealing damage just because enemies can’t hit you? That’s awesome.

Share the good news
So here I am, telling you all about it. I also read something online that said you could get it by betting some sword called Murakumo at the Dragon’s Neck Coliseum, but honestly, finding it in that chest was way easier for me.
Honestly, I kept this helmet on for most of my playthrough. It’s just that good. I mean, sure, if you’re more into casting spells and controlling the battlefield that way, you might switch it out. But for me, it was a game-changer. Turning defense into offense? Yes, please!
So yeah, that’s my story about the Holy Lance Helm. If you’re running a melee-heavy character, you gotta try to get this thing. It’s a blast!
