Harley Davidson Street Rod Price: How Much Does it Cost? Find Out and Compare Now!

Must read

Okay, so today I wanna talk about my recent project: messing with a Harley Davidson Street Rod. Let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride, literally.

First things first, I got my hands on a used Harley Davidson Street Rod. I spent some time browsing through Auto Trader and Gumtree. Lots of options there, but I found one in England that caught my eye. It was a 2017 XG750 model, and the price was pretty sweet – 2989, marked as a Christmas price. I thought, “Why not?” and went for it.

Once I had the bike, the real fun began. This thing is not a superbike, mind you. It’s more of a cruiser, but it has got some kick. It can hit around 105 mph, which is more than enough for me. I learned that these bikes are made in Harley’s Kansas City facility, at least for the US and Canada. Engines and other stuff for the rest of the world come from elsewhere. Interesting stuff.

I started by giving it a good once-over. I checked out some videos online, just to get a feel for what others have done with their Street Rods. Then, I dove into the details – looked at the book pack, studied the specs. You know, the usual gearhead stuff.

Tinkering Around

  • First off, I changed the oil and replaced the air filter. Just basic maintenance to get it running smooth.
  • Then, I swapped out the stock exhaust. Felt like it needed a bit more growl, you know?
  • I also played around with the handlebars and the seat. Wanted to get the riding position just right for me. It’s all about comfort, especially on longer rides.
  • I didn’t stop there. I added some new LED lights. Makes a big difference at night, plus they look pretty cool.

After all that tinkering, it was time to take it for a spin. Man, what a difference! The bike felt more responsive, sounded better, and just was more fun to ride. I took it out on some country roads, cruised around town, and even did a little highway run. It handled great.

All in all, it was a blast working on this Street Rod. I learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and now I have a sweet ride that’s just the way I like it. If you’re thinking about getting into bikes or just looking for a fun project, I’d definitely recommend checking out the Harley Davidson Street Rod. Just be prepared to get your hands dirty!
