Alright, let’s talk about this Marcus Walker guy. I had to do some digging cause, honestly, I wasn’t sure who he was at first. I started by hitting up the usual spots – you know, the basic search engines. Turns out, there are a few Marcus Walkers out there.
I saw a basketball player, apparently pretty good, played in Iceland or something. Then there was some church guy, a reverend, doing his thing in London, and founded some sort of Save the Parish thing. I even stumbled across something about a TV guy, but it wasn’t much to go on.
And guess what? I found some articles this dude, Marcus Walker, wrote. Nothing too crazy. But it was something. It was kinda tough piecing it all together.
The most interesting thing I found was some video game character, 2B, and apparently this Marcus Walker was somehow related to it. That got my attention. Apparently, 2B is one of the main characters, a soldier in this group called YoRHa. She’s got a partner, 9S, who’s some kind of scout. They’re fighting robots made by aliens. Wild, right?
- I read that 2B is a female character, but you can also play as 9S, who’s a guy. People were saying the story is good, and it doesn’t matter if you play as a different gender. Someone even mentioned 2B had a nice, uh, backside.
- Then I learned some pretty heavy stuff. Turns out 2B knows she’s going to die. She gives her sword and memories to another character, A2, and asks her to take care of everyone. A2 ends up killing 2B, like a mercy thing, and 9S sees it happen.
- Seems like a sad story, but also really deep. I had to stop and think about it for a bit.
This whole thing was a bit of a rollercoaster. I went from not knowing who Marcus Walker was to getting sucked into this video game story. I guess that’s what happens when you start digging around on the internet. You never know what you’ll find! Anyway, that’s my little adventure with Marcus Walker. Maybe I’ll even try that game sometime.
