Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to watch this documentary called “What Is a Woman?” for a while now. It’s been making waves, and I was curious to see what all the fuss was about. So today, I finally decided to give it a go.

First thing I did was fire up my laptop and start searching for it online. I mean, everything’s online these days, right? I typed in “watch What Is a Woman? free online” into the search bar and hit enter.
The search results popped up, and I started clicking through them. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. A lot of the results were just articles about the film, or about people talking about it. I did see some options for watching, but nothing free at this moment in Canada.
I’m not gonna lie, I was a little bummed. I was hoping to watch it without any hassle. But, hey, that’s the way it goes sometimes. I saw that I could select “Free” and get a notification if it ever showed up for free on some streaming sites. So, I did that, figuring it was worth a shot.
Digging Deeper
Then I started reading some of the summaries and reviews. Apparently, this film follows this guy named Matt on his journey to explore this question. And it sounds like it gets pretty intense. People were saying it was both funny and, like, really disturbing at the same time. Interesting mix, huh?
I also found out that the film was made back in 2020, but I guess it’s still relevant today. It features discussions with different women, including some scenes in a locker room. One site mentioned names like Mina Alette Hvik, Eva Johansson, and Louise Lwenberg. I think they’re some of the people in it. And a guy named Marin Hskjold directed it.

My takeaway
- Search: First, I searched online using the phrase “watch What Is a Woman? free online.”
- Browse: Then I browsed through the search results.
- Discover: I discovered that there were no free streaming options available in Canada at the moment.
- Read: I read summaries and reviews to learn more about the film.
- Learn: I learned about the film’s premise, cast, and director.
So, that’s where I’m at. I still haven’t watched the whole thing, but I’m definitely more informed now. I might have to wait a bit to see if it pops up for free, or maybe I’ll find another way. Who knows? But yeah, that was my little adventure trying to watch “What Is a Woman?” online today. It wasn’t exactly what I expected, but it was still an interesting experience.
