Alright, so I wanted to catch myself an Applin in Pokémon Scarlet. I’d heard they were kinda tricky to find, so I did a little digging online before I started my hunt. I learned that they like to hang out in trees, specifically in certain areas of the game.

Gearing Up
First things first, I made sure my team was ready. I didn’t want to accidentally knock out the little guy, so I picked some Pokémon that weren’t too overpowered. I also stocked up on some Poké Balls – just your regular ones, nothing fancy needed.
The Hunt Begins
I started my search in the areas I’d read about. Some folks online mentioned Tagtree Thicket, so I headed there first. I spent a good chunk of time running around, slamming into trees with my Koraidon. I gotta say, my ride Pokémon is great for this, it’s so good to dash and bump to trees!
- Keep dashing to trees!
- It can drop from the trees if you continue dash into them.
Success!
Finally after dashing into so many trees, I got it! After a few tries, a little green fella dropped down – it was an Applin! I tossed a Poké Ball, and bam, caught it! Honestly, it took a bit of patience, but it wasn’t super difficult. Don’t give up easily, keep trying!
So, if you’re looking for Applin, hit those trees! Don’t be afraid to get a little rough with them – that’s how you shake those little apple dragons loose. Happy hunting!
