So, I’ve been grinding away at this game, “Enotria: The Last Song,” and man, let me tell you about this one side quest – the one with Veltha. I heard a bunch of people online saying she’s a real pain, the first boss that really makes you sweat, and guess what? They weren’t kidding!

I started the quest, all excited, you know? The game is set in this beautiful, sun-drenched world, it’s all inspired by Italian folklore, it’s really something else. Anyway, I followed the trail to Falesia Magna, this second chapter area, and I found the Turf of the Coastal Horror Reality Knot, right where Veltha, the God of Strife, is supposed to be. Sounds fancy, right?
I geared up, using a level 6 greatsword, not my favorite, but I had been relying on dodging so far in the demo. I was like, “Alright, let’s do this!” Then I got to Veltha’s Repose, where she was waiting. The online guides, which are super detailed by the way, talked about keeping a “midrange distance” and parrying her attacks. But man, it’s easier said than done. Get too close, and she smacks you. Stay too far, and she starts throwing ranged attacks. She’s got this crazy high defense, too, or so I heard from some other players who were struggling just like me. They were posting threads asking for tips, and I was right there with them!
- I tried to keep my distance, like the guides said.
- I tried to parry, but her timing is all over the place.
- I even tried to just dodge everything, like I did with the first boss, but Veltha is on another level.
Then, I remembered someone mentioning that health matters a lot in this game, and it gets a boost every 10 points. So, I started pumping points into health. 25 points gave me 10, then 40 gave me 20, and it kept going. I figured, if I can’t dodge or parry perfectly, maybe I can just outlast her. It was a bit of a wild strategy. And you know what? It actually started working! I could take a few more hits, giving me more time to learn her patterns.
I noticed this weird aura around her that builds up some kind of sickness. Nasty stuff. I tried to stay out of it as much as possible, but sometimes it’s just unavoidable. I just kept at it, dodging, getting hit, healing, and slowly chipping away at her health. It was a long and tough fight, but eventually, I managed to take her down. Finally I beat her, what a tough fight!
So yeah, that’s my story of the Veltha side quest in “Enotria: The Last Song.” It was a real challenge, but a good one. If you’re struggling with her, try pumping up your health, and don’t be afraid to take some hits while you learn her moves. And most importantly, don’t give up! It might take a few tries, but you’ll get there. Good luck, and happy gaming!
