Okay, so the other day, I was feeling super lazy, you know, one of those days where you just don’t wanna spend hours in the kitchen. But, I still wanted something tasty, so I decided to whip up something quick using some stuff from Trader Joe’s. I call it my “TJ Cook” special.

First, I grabbed a pack of their flatbread. It was just sitting there in my pantry, calling my name. Then, I rummaged through my fridge and found some leftover sauce and some mozzarella cheese. I put the flatbread on a baking sheet.
Next, I spread a thin layer of sauce evenly over the flatbread. I sprinkled a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top. Honestly, you can never have too much cheese, right?
Making the Miso Broth
- I filled a small pot with water and brought it to a boil.
- Then, I tossed in a packet of Trader Joe’s miso broth mix. It dissolves in seconds, super convenient.
- Stirred it a couple of times to make sure it was all mixed in.
Adding the Gyoza
- While the broth was simmering, I grabbed a bag of frozen gyoza from the freezer.
- Carefully dropped the gyoza into the simmering miso broth.
- Let them cook for about 5-7 minutes, until they were nice and plump.
While the gyoza were cooking, I popped the flatbread pizza into the oven. I set it to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, I kept an eye on it, and after about 10 minutes, the cheese was all melty and bubbly, and the crust was golden brown. Perfect!
Once everything was ready, I pulled the pizza out of the oven and let it cool for a bit. Then, I carefully scooped the gyoza and broth into a bowl.
Finally, I sliced up the pizza, and served it alongside the gyoza and miso broth. It was the ultimate lazy meal, but it tasted like a million bucks. I love it when I find such convenient food at Trader Joe’s. That’s why I always have some of the stuff at hand. For days like this!
