Okay, so I was having this debate with a buddy the other day about NFL quarterbacks, and of course, Drew Brees’s name came up. We were arguing about whether he was already in the Hall of Fame or not. I was pretty sure he wasn’t, but I needed to double-check, you know, to win the argument. So I started digging.
My Research Process
First, I hit up Google. Just a simple search, something like “Drew Brees Hall of Fame”. I figured the quickest way to settle this was to see what the internet had to say. I scrolled through a few of the top results.
I quickly realized that, yeah, Drew Brees isn’t in the Hall of Fame yet. It’s not that he won’t get in, everyone knows he’s a legend, He is sure will be get in.
- Turns out, there’s this rule,
- All NFL players gotta wait for five years after they retire before they can even be considered.
- So I understood about “five years post-retirement”
So, basically, I confirmed my initial thought. Brees isn’t in yet simply because he hasn’t been retired long enough. My buddy conceded defeat. Another win for me!
