Okay, so I was messing around with some data about Donald Trump’s New Hampshire results, and I figured I’d share my little adventure.

First, I dug around for some raw data. You know, just trying to find the actual numbers from the primary. I poked around on some news sites and official election pages.
Sifting Through the Numbers
Once I grabbed a decent data set, I opened it up. I just wanted to see the overall vote totals, percentages, and maybe how he did in different counties. The first time I got raw data, I have to use excel to organize them.
- Total Votes: How many people actually voted for him?
- Percentage: What share of the total vote did he get?
- County Breakdown: Where was he strongest and weakest?
After I put the data in order, I also searched the internet to compare the data. I compared the number with different data sources.
So, yeah, that’s basically what I did. Just a little data exploration to satisfy my own curiosity. It wasn’t anything super fancy, but it was kind of interesting to see the actual numbers laid out like that.
