Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this thing called “marc haddad,” and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started off just poking around, you know, seeing what this whole carnivore diet thing was all about. I mean, who only eats meat? Turns out, a lot of people, and they swear by it.

First, I dug into some books, I think it is “The Carnivore Code Bible 2023,” written by some guy named Blake Reed. This book, it’s thick, man. It’s got recipes for like a whole year. It felt like a good place to start.
Then I found this lady, Maria, who’s all about this diet. She shared some of her daily meals. She makes these things called “carnivore waffles.” It’s just meat and eggs, but she puts it in a waffle maker, and she says it’s amazing. I decided to give it a shot. I mixed some ground beef with a couple of eggs and threw it in my old waffle maker. Surprisingly, it wasn’t half bad. It’s no Belgian waffle, but it filled me up.
- Started with reading “The Carnivore Code Bible 2023.”
- Tried Maria’s carnivore waffle recipe.
- Explored other meal ideas from the book.
Maria, she usually eats steak and fish for lunch. Simple, right? And for dinner, she does scrambled eggs with salmon. I figured, why not? I grabbed some steak and salmon from the store. I cooked up the steak medium-rare, just how I like it, and pan-fried the salmon with a bit of salt and pepper.
Trying It Out
I stuck to this routine for a few days. Steak and fish for lunch, scrambled eggs with salmon for dinner. It was… different. I felt full, that’s for sure. And I didn’t have those afternoon energy crashes I usually get. But I did miss my veggies and fruits. I won’t lie, it was tough sometimes, especially when my family was eating pizza or pasta.
After a week, I started to get a bit bored with the same meals, so I flipped through Blake Reed’s book again. I found recipes for things like pork chops, lamb, and even some seafood dishes. I tried making a few of them. The pork chops were pretty good, especially with a bit of butter. Lamb was a bit gamey for me, but it was okay. I even tried oysters for the first time. They were… an experience.

So, that’s where I’m at now. I’m still experimenting with this “marc haddad” thing. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s been an interesting ride. I’m not sure if I’ll stick with it long-term, but for now, I’m just seeing where it takes me. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up a full-blown carnivore, maybe I won’t. But it’s all about trying new things, right?
