Okay, so, today I wanted to talk a little bit about my recent deep dive into the world of golf. More specifically, figuring out what’s in the bags of some of these pro golfers. I’ve always been a bit of a golf nerd, you know? I just find it super interesting to see what equipment the top players are using.

So, I started digging around online, looking for info on different players. I came across a few names like Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth, and Tyrrell Hatton. I mean, these guys are beasts on the course, so I figured they must have some pretty sweet gear.
I found this site, called something like . Sounds kind of official, right? Anyway, it seemed like a pretty good resource, letting you see what clubs the pros are carrying. It’s like a database for golf nerds, which I guess I am.
My Research Journey
I spent hours on this site, just clicking through different player profiles. I saw that Xander Schauffele was using some interesting clubs. And then I found details about Nick Taylor’s winning set from the 2025 Sony Open. He’s got a Titleist driver and a TaylorMade 3-wood. Pretty cool stuff.
- Started by searching for info on top PGA Tour players.
- Found a website called *.
- Spent hours browsing player profiles and their club choices.
- Checked out the gear of players like Xander Schauffele and Nick Taylor.
- Discovered details about Nick Taylor’s winning set from the 2025 Sony Open.
Then I stumbled upon some info about a golf analyst named Ray Barnes. Apparently, he’s got a PhD in Sports Analytics. That’s some serious dedication to the game. I also found some stuff about Russell Henley and what he’s carrying in his bag. It was really interesting to see the variety of clubs and brands these guys use.
I even came across some info about Dean Burmester. He’s using a TaylorMade Stealth Plus three-wood, which sounds pretty advanced. And it seems like he joined some LIV Tour in 2023. I don’t know much about that, but it sounds like a big deal.

Oh, and I also found some stuff about Bryson DeChambeau. Apparently, last year he was using a Cobra Radspeed Big Tour 3-wood. I guess these guys switch up their gear pretty often to stay on top of their game. Man I spent all day on it.
It was a pretty fun little research project, even if it did take up most of my day. I just love seeing what the pros are using and trying to understand their choices. Maybe one day I’ll be good enough to use some of that fancy equipment myself!
