Okay, so today I decided to dig into Dan Hampton’s stats. I’ve always heard what a beast he was, but I wanted to see the numbers for myself.

Getting Started
First, I opened up my browser. Just started by typing “Dan Hampton stats” into the search bar.
The Process
The search results popped up a bunch of sites. I looked at a few, just to get a general idea. The most useful for me was his record on wikipedia.
- I scrolled through the page. Checked out the different sections, you know, like “Early Life,” “College Career,” and of course, “Professional Career.” That’s where the good stuff is.
- I focused on his NFL career. Looked for things like tackles, sacks, interceptions, and forced fumbles. Those are the big ones, right?
- I also looked at the seasons. Wanted to see how he did year by year, if he had any monster years, or if he was pretty consistent.
What did I Realize
After that, I kind of compared what I found. You see a lot of impressive stuff just by looking at the numbers.
Man, this guy Dan was a really good football player. The numbers don’t lie, you know? It’s cool to look back at these legends and really appreciate what they did on the field.
