So, the other day I was messing around on Snapchat, trying to figure out this whole “Boomerang” thing. I’d seen people do it, and it looked pretty cool, but I couldn’t quite get the hang of it at first.

First, I opened up Snapchat and went to the camera screen, you know, the usual spot.
Then, I tried recording a video, just a short one to test things out. I tapped and held the big circle button at the bottom, like I always do.
- I tried pressing record.
- I tried holding record.
- I tried swiping.
Once I had my little video, I started looking for the Boomerang option. I swiped left and right. I kept swiping, thinking it might be one of those hidden filters, but no luck.
Figuring it Out
I went back to the video preview screen, and that’s when I noticed the infinity loop icon on the right side of the screen. It was kinda small, and I hadn’t really paid attention to it before.
I finally found that after recording the video!

I tapped on that infinity loop icon, and boom! Suddenly, my video was playing back and forth, back and forth, just like a Boomerang. I was so excited and laughed, cause I had finally make it.
Then, just like with any other Snap, I could add text, stickers, or drawings to my Boomerang. I could even trim the length of it if I wanted to.
Finally, I hit the send button and shared my awesome Boomerang with my friends. They all thought it was pretty cool, and I felt like a Snapchat pro.
