Okay, so let’s talk about my little adventure today figuring out these college golf player rankings.

First off, I needed to get online. No brainer, right? I fired up my laptop and connected to the Wi-Fi. My internet was a bit slow today, for some reason. Might be all the rain we’ve been getting.
Once I was online, I started by trying to find a place to create an account. It turns out I needed to log in to get to the rankings. I found a login option and clicked it. I tried to create an account. I clicked around until I found the “New User” section. There should be an area for new users to sign up.
I spent a good 15 minutes trying to find the sign-up page. It was like a maze! I found some general info about different types of college degrees and another about web development jobs – interesting stuff, but not what I was looking for at the moment.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I found it! I entered my email, created a super-secure password, and boom, I was in! I did have to verify my email, though. They sent a link to my inbox, and I had to click on that to confirm it was really me. Security, security, security!
After that I logged in with my new credentials. It was smooth sailing from there. I could finally see the rankings! It took a little digging, but I found the specific golfers I was looking for and checked out their stats. The rankings were pretty comprehensive. They had all kinds of details, like average scores, tournament finishes, and even some biographical info on each player.

I spent some time browsing through the rankings and making some notes. I’m working on a little project comparing a few different players, so this was super helpful.
All in all, it took me longer than I expected to get to the actual rankings, but once I was in, it was smooth. It is not perfect, but at least I got the data I needed!
