Okay, so the other day I was digging around for some nostalgic football stuff, and I got this idea to put together the 2010 Dutch World Cup squad. You know, that team that almost, almost won it all? Here’s how I went about it:

First, I fired up my trusty old browser. I wasn’t about to try and remember every single player from memory. No way!
The Initial Search
I started with a simple, broad search. Just typed in something like “2010 dutch world cup” to see what would pop up. I figured this would give me a good overview and point me in the right direction.
Narrowing it Down
The initial search gave me tons of results, articles, and random pages. It was a bit overwhelming. So, I refined my search. I added “squad” or “players” to the search terms. That helped a lot to filter out the irrelevant stuff.
Finding a Reliable Source
I landed on a few different websites that listed the squad. To be sure, I looked for sites that seemed credible, you know, the usual sports news outlets or official-looking football pages.I paid attention to sites, then found all the players.
Compiling the List
Once I felt confident about the source, I started copying down the names. I made sure to get the full roster – goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, forwards, all of them.
Double-Checking (Just in Case!)
Even though I trusted the source, I did a quick double-check. I compared the list I had with a couple of other websites, just to make sure there were no discrepancies or missing names. Better safe than sorry, right?

- Maarten Stekelenburg
- Michel Vorm
- Sander Boschker
- Defenders:
- Gregory van der Wiel

All Done!
And that was it! It took a little bit of searching and clicking around, but I finally had my complete 2010 Dutch World Cup squad. It brought back some good memories (and some painful ones, considering that final!).
