Today I’m gonna talk about the Chargers and the Bills. I’ve been checking out their games for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride.
So, I started digging into this whole thing, right? Turns out, these two teams, the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers, they’ve been going at it for quite some time. I found out they’ve played each other like 41 times. That’s a lot of games! And get this, three of those were in the playoffs.
I got curious and wanted to see who came out on top more often. Looked up their biggest wins and all that stuff. The Bills, they once beat the Chargers by a massive 29 points. That was back on November 20th, on the road, no less. Score was 32-3. Must have been a tough day for the Chargers, huh?
Biggest Wins and Losses

- Chargers’ Biggest Win: 39 points
But, the Chargers, they’ve had their moments too. Their biggest win over the Bills? A whopping 39 points! I couldn’t find the exact date, but man, that must have been something.
Then I went back in time, looking at their very first game. It was way back on October 2, 1960. Chargers won that one, 24-10. Their last game, as far as I know, was just this past December 23rd. The Bills barely won that one, 24 to 22. It was a nail-biter!
And in the playoffs, it’s been pretty close. The Bills have a slight edge, 2-1 against the Chargers. I even found out that the Chargers have made the playoffs 21 times. 16 of those were after they joined the NFL in 1970. They were part of the AFL before that, since 1960, if you can believe it.
I also checked out some records. All-time, the Chargers are leading against the Bills, 24-12-2. Not too shabby. This whole thing’s been pretty interesting to dive into. Lots of history between these two teams.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure into the world of the Chargers and the Bills. It’s been fun piecing together their story. These two teams? They’ve definitely got some history.
