So, yesterday was the second day of ADCC, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I started the day pretty early, I got up and did all my morning stuff, and I went straight to my computer to catch up on all the matches.

I grabbed a cup of coffee, got cozy on my couch, and started watching. I watched the opening rounds and saw some of my favorite athletes go at it.
After the opening rounds, I decided to take a quick break. I walked around, stretched a bit, and made myself a sandwich. Then, it was back to the action. I watched the quarterfinals, and let me tell you, the intensity was through the roof. These guys were leaving it all on the mat.
After watching the quarterfinals, I needed another break. I did some chores around the house, you know, just to get my mind off things for a bit. I finished up some laundry, washed a few dishes, and then I made my way back to the couch.
I watched the semi-finals, and man, those matches were something else. I cheered, I yelled at the screen, and I was totally on edge for some of these fights. I could feel my heart racing with every takedown and every submission attempt.
Here’s a quick rundown of what went down in the semi-finals:

- -66kg: I saw Diogo Reis beat Gabriel Sousa. What a match!
- -77kg: I watched as Mica Galvao took down Kade Ruotolo. It was a bit of an upset, but Galvao really brought it.
- -88kg: I saw Giancarlo Bodoni defeat Isaque Bahiense. Another intense match, for sure.
- -99kg: I watched as Kaynan Duarte won over Rafael Lovato Jr. I have always loved Rafael.
- %2B99kg: I watched Gordon Ryan beat Roosevelt Sousa.
- -60kg: I watched as Ffion Davies beat Brianna Ste-Marie. Davies is a machine!
- %2B60kg: I watched Rafaela Guedes take the win over Kendall Reusing. That was a close one!
After the semis, I took a longer break. I had dinner, caught up with some friends on the phone, and just relaxed for a bit. Then, it was time for the finals.
The Finals
The energy was electric. I watched every match with bated breath. Each finalist gave it their all, and it was amazing to see such high-level jiu-jitsu. I paced around my living room, I shouted at the screen, and I celebrated every victory like I was right there on the mat.
After all the matches were done, I felt drained but also so excited. It was an incredible day of competition. I spent some time reading through the discussions online, seeing what other people thought of the matches. I wrote down some notes about the key moments and the techniques that stood out to me.
I made this blog to share my experience with you all. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I had a blast watching ADCC day 2, and I can not wait for the next event. Until then, I will keep training and keep sharing my jiu-jitsu journey with you all.
