Well, let me tell you, I seen a thing or two in my day. But these cartoon NBA basketball players, they somethin’ else. They big, they jumpin’ all over, and they look like them cartoons my grandkids watch. Ain’t never seen nothin’ like it!

It’s like they hopped right outta the TV and onto the court. Big heads, big eyes, and them bodies lookin’ all stretched out. Makes me chuckle just thinkin’ about it. They got all the famous ones, too. The ones on the TV. Lebron, Curry, and that Jordan fella. They all there, lookin’ like cartoons. My oh my!
- They got that cartoon LeBron, lookin’ like a king and all.
- Then there’s that cartoon Curry, shootin’ the ball from way downtown.
- And who could forget cartoon Jordan, flyin’ through the air like a bird?
I reckon it’s for the kids, these cartoon NBA players. Gotta keep ’em entertained, I suppose. But I tell ya, it’s a sight to see even for an old gal like me. They put these pictures on the wall, wallpaper, big as day, and colorful like a quilt. My grandson, he’s got a bunch of them in his room. It’s like a basketball cartoon land in there.
Funny Lookin’ Basketball Stars
They got these cartoon NBA players doin’ all sorts of silly things. One minute they dunkin’, the next they got their tongues hangin’ out like a dog on a hot day. And the ball, sometimes it’s got a face on it! It’s a whole different world, I tell ya. They make these cartoons look like the real players, but kinda squished and stretched like taffy. Funny thing is, you can still tell who is who.
My grandbaby, he loves that Ja Morant. He showed me a picture, said it was his favorite player. And there he was, lookin’ like a cartoon, flyin’ through the air with the ball. You can tell he is gonna dunk it. There are also some players love them Japanese cartoons, like that Daniel Gafford. He likes Dragon Ball. I seen them on his pictures, these cartoon NBA players all mixed up with them Goku and Vegeta fellas. Kids these days!
- They got pictures of ’em with big ol’ muscles, like Popeye after he eats his spinach.
- Sometimes they got fire comin’ outta their shoes when they jump real high.

It’s a Whole New World of Basketball
Back in my day, we didn’t have no cartoon NBA players. We just had the real ones, and they were plenty entertainin’. But I guess times change. Now you got these cartoons everywhere. On the TV, on the computer, on them phones the kids are always lookin’ at. Basketball is fun to watch, the games are fast, and lots of players dunking and scoring. Lots of stories and heroes, too. Even them old players are becoming cartoons, it is crazy.
I even seen some of these cartoon NBA players on clothes! Shirts and hats and even shoes. It’s like a whole cartoon basketball world out there. You can’t escape it. The kids love it. They collect these pictures like we used to collect them stamps. They put them on the walls. Some even draw their own cartoon NBA players. Get inspired, they said. They even put those cartoons on them video games. Them hands are so fast, I can barely see what is going on. I stick to my bingo, thank you very much.
Cartoon Basketball for Everyone
I reckon these cartoon NBA players are here to stay. They everywhere. And you know what? They kinda fun. They make me laugh. And they get the kids excited about basketball. So, I guess that’s a good thing. Keeps ’em outta trouble, maybe. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll even get one of them cartoon basketball shirts myself. Wouldn’t that be a hoot?
These kids got so many choices now. Cartoons and real players, all mixed together. I remember when the Lakers was the team everyone talked about. Now, there is a team in every big city. And they all got cartoons! I seen a cartoon for that new team, the Pelicans. And they got a cartoon pelican playin’ basketball! What will they think of next?
So, if you see one of these cartoon NBA players, don’t be surprised. It’s just the way things are now. They are everywhere, and like it or not, they part of the game. Just like them big, strong real players. But these cartoons, they can do anything. Fly, shoot fire, and make you laugh. It is a new age, that is for sure. This old lady gotta keep up with the times!
Just like them Looney Tunes playing ball with Michael Jordan. It is a mix of real and cartoon. I don’t know how they do it, but it is amazing. Maybe next they will have cartoons playing in real games. Now, that would be something to see! Just imagine, a cartoon NBA player dunking over a real player. Ha!
