Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with this guy, Carlos Alberto Duron. I’d heard the name somewhere, probably on a music app or something, and it got stuck in my head. So, I started by just typing his name into my music app to see what would pop up.

First thing I saw was a song called “Tegucigalpa.” I gave it a listen, not bad. It has some good vibes. I saved it to my playlist. After that, I did a bit more digging on this Carlos guy.
Turns out, there’s this composer and guitarist named Carlos Alberto Duron Zarate, also goes by Carlos Duran. This guy is from Colombia and he writes music for concerts and also for media stuff. I found out that he did some work for an Amazon Prime series called ‘Cochina’. That’s pretty cool, I guess.
Then I started searching around on social media, because, why not? I typed in “Carlos Duron” on Facebook, and, man, there are a bunch of people with that name. It’s like, every other profile is a Carlos Duron. I tried to connect with a few who looked like they might be the musician, but no luck there.
During my search, I stumbled upon some random flashcards, of all things. There was this one question about some Carlos describing his relationship with a girl named Gisele, talking about sexual attraction, trust, and respect. It was strange to find that, but kind of interesting. It made me wonder if it’s related to the musician or just another Carlos.
The flashcards also had some stuff about plagiarism and academic integrity, which was a total detour from what I was looking for. But, you know, it’s always good to remember that stuff, especially if you’re writing or creating content. I made a mental note to be careful with using other people’s work without giving credit.

So, here’s what I got from my little exploration today:
- Carlos Alberto Duron is a name that’s associated with music, specifically a song called “Tegucigalpa.”
- There’s a Carlos Alberto Duron Zarate, or Carlos Duran, who’s a composer and guitarist from Colombia, and he’s done some work for an Amazon Prime series.
- There are tons of people named Carlos Duron on Facebook, making it tough to pinpoint the musician.
- I found some random flashcards about a relationship and academic integrity, which was a bit off-topic but still interesting.
Overall, it was a fun little dive into the internet rabbit hole. I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for, but I learned a few things and got a new song for my playlist. That’s a win in my book. Might do some more digging on Carlos Duran later, see if I can find more of his music.
