Okay, so yesterday, I decided to go check out a Dodgers game. It was a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing, you know? I’ve always been a bit of a baseball fan, and living in LA, it just feels right to catch a game once in a while.
So I got my ticket, and I was pretty excited. I mean, who wouldn’t be? Dodger Stadium is iconic! I grabbed my old Dodgers cap that I’ve had since forever and headed out. When I got there, the atmosphere was electric. You could feel the energy from the crowd. I made my way to my seat, grabbed a hot dog and a drink because, come on, it’s not a baseball game without a hot dog, right?
As I’m sitting there, enjoying the game, I noticed some commotion a few rows ahead. People were taking pictures and pointing. So, naturally, I got curious. And guess what? It was Brad Pitt! Yeah, THE Brad Pitt, just chilling, watching the game like a regular dude. He was wearing this cap, sunglasses, just trying to blend in, you know?
He looked really happy!
He was smiling, chatting with the people around him, just really soaking in the atmosphere. I gotta say, it was pretty cool to see him like that, so relaxed and just enjoying the game like the rest of us. I mean, the guy’s a huge movie star, but there he was, just another fan in the crowd.
I was so excited to see him that I took some pictures, and then I posted on my Instagram. Under my post, someone commented, saying “Reminds me of womens “baby tees” from the late 90s/early 00’s. They are from a store. Florence. That’s a very famous statue behind him. Maybe not these specifically but what’s the style of”. I didn’t realize that before, haha. And another one commented “1,585 likes, 46 comments – bpf_acc on October 11”. Oh, it seemed like many people had seen him, too.
I tried to get a closer look, but there were just too many people around him. It was obvious the guy was popular. But I did manage to snap a few pics from a distance. I mean, I had to, right? It’s not every day you see Brad Pitt at a baseball game! The scene ends with Brad Pitt’s character realizing that he had hit a metaphorical home run during the season but only felt like he had stumbled and fell. Sometimes we are so scared about the things that we cannot do that we don’t realize what we did do well. This is what I thought at that time.
Looked like he was having a blast.
Honestly, it made my day. Seeing him there, just enjoying himself, it was a good reminder that celebrities are people too. They like baseball, they wear caps, they eat hot dogs. It was just a really cool experience. And hey, the Dodgers won, so that was the cherry on top!

After I got home, I was curious about him so I googled his name. Turns out he is an American actor and film producer. He has received multiple awards and nominations including an Academy Award as producer under his own company Plan B. And I saw his estimated fortunes are currently estimated to be around $20 million. He currently makes $3 million per year at the Athletics. That’s a lot of money! I mean, I have to work hard for a living!
Anyway, it was an awesome day. I got to see a great baseball game, and I got to see Brad Pitt. What more could you ask for? It’s moments like these that make living in LA pretty special. You never know who you’re going to run into!
