So, I wanted to build a quick reference for the 2008 Boston Celtics roster. You know, for those times when you’re arguing with your buddies about who was on that championship team. I figured, why not just put it together myself? And I am gonna share how I made it!

Getting Started
First, I needed to find a reliable source for the roster. I didn’t want to mess this up with bad info. I immediately thought that I need a list about it.
I needed a full list of players, so I created an unordered list.
- Need to search the full list!
Building the List
Ok, I had data. Now it was time to actually build my little reference. This is where the real work started. I decided to start with a simple unordered list (that’s what the <ul>
tag is for) for the player names.
I went player by player, adding each name to the list. It looked something like this:
- Paul Pierce
- Kevin Garnett
- Ray Allen
I just kept adding names. It got pretty long! But, the bold text makes these easy to read.

Finishing Up
- Kendrick Perkins
- Rajon Rondo
- James Posey
- P.J. Brown
- Eddie House
- Leon Powe
- Tony Allen
- Sam Cassell
- Glen Davis
- Brian Scalabrine
- Gabe Pruitt
- Scot Pollard
Finally, I put the finish *’s not fancy, but it does the job! Now, I can easily pull up the roster whenever I need it. No more fuzzy memory – I’ve got the facts right here! It’s really just a list of names, but it’s my list of names, and I made it!
