bmw c evolution Review: Is This Electric Scooter Worth the Price? Get the Inside Scoop Here!

Must read

Today I wanna talk about this BMW C evolution scooter. I got my hands on one of these bad boys a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride.

Getting Started

First off, I took a good look around this thing. Compared to my old C650GT, this one doesn’t have nearly as much storage. Turns out, most of the space under the seat is taken up by a massive battery pack. I was told that this is because the C evolution is quite possibly the best electric maxi-scooter that money can buy.

Test Drive

Alright, time to see what this thing can do. I hopped on and fired it up. It’s got a liquid-cooled electric motor, which sounds pretty fancy. The official rating is 15bhp, so you can ride it on an A1 license. I hit the road, and wow, it’s quick! BMW says it can hit 75 mph, and I believe it. It zooms past those bigger 600 cc scooters, no problem. I took it on a longer route, and the boosted battery really helps with the range. They say it can go up to 99 miles on a single charge. I didn’t push it that far, but it definitely handled my usual commute like a champ.

Features and Tech

This scooter’s got some cool tech borrowed from other BMW bikes and even cars. There’s a side-loading compartment under the seat, but it’s pretty small. You can barely fit a full-face helmet in there. But hey, it’s got a 94-Ah battery that delivers 48 hp and 53 lb-ft of torque. That’s some serious power for an electric scooter. I checked out the specs, and it says the max output is 48 hp (35 kW) at 4. Pretty impressive, right?

Final Thoughts

So, after spending some quality time with the BMW C evolution, what’s the verdict? It’s a fun ride, handles well, and it’s definitely quick. It’s a whole different way of looking at transportation. If you don’t mind the limited storage and can handle the range, which is about 60 miles between charges in real-world use, it’s a solid choice. But keep in mind, the base price is around $11. It’s a bit pricey, but for an electric scooter that feels this good, it might just be worth it.

  • Pros:
    • Super quick and fun to ride
    • Handles really well
    • Decent range for an electric scooter
  • Cons:
    • Not much storage space
    • A bit on the expensive side

Overall, I’m pretty stoked about this scooter. It’s a blast to ride, and it’s cool to see how electric tech is changing the game. If you get a chance, give it a try!
