Okay, so today I messed around with this “Blake McShea” thing. I’d heard the name, maybe seen it in passing, but never really knew what it was about. So, I figured, why not dive in and see what happens?
Getting Started
First, I Googled it. You know, the usual. Just typed in “Blake McShea” and see what I get.
I was finding mixed search results. There are a lot of people named Blake McShea!
So I tried specifying the query more.

- “Blake McShea” + “github”
- “Blake McShea” + “developer”
Digging Deeper
After some exploring with different queries, I was able to start figuring out ways to achieve what I wanted, which was gathering more data about a specific Blake McShea.
I wanted to see what I could find out about him. Not in a creepy way, just, you know, what’s out there publicly?
Putting it all Together
It was a bit of a winding path, to be honest. I started broad, then got more specific, I refined my approach a lot.I ended up finding some interesting stuff, learned a few things, and generally satisfied my curiosity.
I definitely wouldn’t say I’m an expert on Blake McShea now, but I at least have a better understanding of the name, and was able to find the person I was looking for in the search results!
