Black Widow Dream Meaning: Is It a Bad Sign or a Warning?

Must read

Okay, so, last night I had this, like, totally crazy idea to try and “dream of a black widow.” Sounds nuts, right? But I’ve been messing around with lucid dreaming, and I figured, why not try to control what I dream about? Here’s how it went down.

Getting Ready

First, I needed to set the stage. Before bed, I did some stuff to get my mind focused. I:

  • Looked at pictures: Spent a good 10 minutes just staring at photos of black widows. Really tried to burn those images into my brain.
  • Repeated it: I kept saying to myself, “I will dream of a black widow,” over and over. Kind of like a weird mantra.
  • Relaxed, man: I did my usual pre-sleep routine – turned off all the screens, did some deep breathing, and just tried to chill out.

Into the Dream (Hopefully)

Falling asleep was the usual deal. I just focused on my breathing and tried to clear my head. It took a while, because, you know, spiders. But eventually, I drifted off.

The Dream Itself (Or Did I?)

Okay, this is where it gets hazy. I think I had a dream where I was in this, like, dusty old attic. And there, in the corner, was this HUGE black widow. It was way bigger than a normal one, almost cartoonish.

I remember feeling freaked out, but also kind of… fascinated? I didn’t run away, which is what I’d probably do in real life. Instead, I just watched it. It didn’t really do anything, just sat there.

Waking Up and Thinking

I woke up feeling kind of weird. Did I actually control my dream, or was it just a coincidence? I’m not sure. It definitely felt different from my usual random dreams, more vivid, maybe?

It’s hard to say if I really nailed it. I mean, I did see a black widow, but the whole dream was pretty short and, well, not that exciting. Maybe I need to practice more, or maybe my brain just isn’t wired for spider dreams. Who knows! It was a fun experiment, anyway. Might try something a little less creepy next time, though. Like, maybe dreaming of a beach vacation. Yeah, that sounds much better.
