So, I decided to mess around with this “Big Baller Brand” thing. Yeah, the one from that basketball family.

First, I checked out when they started. Turns out, they registered their name way back in March 2017. Their slogan, “Built for this,” that was trademarked in early 2018. Basic stuff, right?
Then I dug a little deeper. In 2020, they tried to make a comeback with a new website and all that jazz. I remember the dad, LaVar, claiming it was worth a billion dollars! Good luck with that, man.
Their Rise
- The whole idea started because of Lonzo Ball, a big deal in the 2017 NBA Draft.
- Instead of just sticking with the NBA, LaVar wanted his own shoe brand. Big Baller Brand was born.
- Lonzo wore those shoes for a bit, then stopped. That’s the short version, anyway.
I looked at their sales, too. Apparently, only 328 people bought shoes in the first 24 hours. Not exactly a slam dunk.
The Mess
- The Better Business Bureau slapped them with an “F” rating. Ouch.
- Customers were complaining left and right, especially about not getting their $500 sneakers. Yes, you read that right, $500!
- Their address is somewhere in Ontario, California, by the way. I found their address: Big Baller Brand 4230 E Airport Dr Ste 110, Ontario, California, United States.
- The Better Business Bureau is this group that helps people when they have problems with companies. They’re legit.
So, the brand had some legal drama. Lonzo cut ties with some guy named Alan Foster in 2019. Don’t know the details, but it sounds messy.
And get this, their customer reviews are terrible! The Better Business Bureau gave them one out of five stars based on 44 product reviews. They’re basically getting roasted online.

People are saying they don’t ship stuff and ignore complaints. It’s a whole mess. I saw all of this. Just thought I’d share my little investigation. It’s crazy how things can go south so fast, huh?
