bg3 queen vlaakith: how to deal with her quests!

Must read

So, I decided to tackle this whole “BG3 Queen Vlaakith” thing. Here’s how it went down.

bg3 queen vlaakith: how to deal with her quests!

First off, I jumped into the game and got to the point where I had to meet this Vlaakith chick. I’d heard some stuff about her, but, you know, gotta see it for myself. When I got there, she appeared and started giving orders. The big one was to off the person inside the Prism. Seemed kinda harsh, but alright.

  • Greet or Disobey: I tried being polite first, but my buddy Lae’zel wasn’t having it. She was all like, “We don’t bow to this lady!” But, turns out, if you disobey Vlaakith, she just zaps your whole party dead. Game over, man. So, yeah, had to swallow my pride and do what she said for now.

I went ahead and entered the Prism as she asked. Inside, things got interesting. I found out that helping this Orpheus dude escape, without turning him into a freaky mind flayer, is like, a super good thing for the world. Like, it could even lead to Vlaakith’s downfall, which would be awesome ’cause the Githyanki wouldn’t be such a pain anymore.

  • Choices, Choices: I had to make a big decision here. Side with the Githyanki and kill the Emperor, or team up with the Emperor, who’s an Illithid but kinda cool. I chose the Emperor because, honestly, that ending where everyone turns into mind flayers is just too bleak. Plus, siding with the Emperor gets you some sweet new powers and leads to a way better ending.

Now, here’s a heads-up: if you decide to tell Vlaakith to shove it, Lae’zel will peace out of your party. She leaves all her stuff, which is nice, I guess, but it’s a bummer to lose her. Also, if you try to just leave the area after refusing her, she gets mad.

Wrapping It Up

So, yeah, dealing with Vlaakith is a real trip. You gotta play it smart and make some tough calls. But it’s all worth it in the end, especially if you manage to help out Orpheus and stick it to Vlaakith. Hope this helps anyone else trying to figure this part of the game out!
