The Servant Moving Headache
I was reorganizing my castles in V Rising yesterday and man, moving servants between them sucked. Every time I needed to relocate a servant, I did this:

- Walked all the way to my origin castle
- Dragged the servant out of their coffin
- Made them follow me like a lost puppy through enemy territory
- Got attacked by archers halfway and had to fight mobs
- Finally arrived at the new castle after 5 minutes
After moving 10 servants this way, I wasted nearly an hour just walking! My coffee got cold, my cat started judging me, and I thought there’s gotta be a better way.
The Experiments
First I tried teleporting with servants – nope, game won’t let you. Then I put servants in travel mode hoping they’d go alone. Big mistake! They walked straight into bandit camps and died. After resurrecting Bob for the third time, I almost rage quit.
Next attempt: I built teleporters in both castles. Still couldn’t transport servants directly. Felt like the game was trolling me – why give us multiple castles if moving helpers is this painful?
The Lightbulb Moment
While reorganizing my storage, I accidentally clicked “put in inventory” on a coffin. Suddenly realized coffins are movable objects! Ran back to my workshop and:
- Crafted 5 extra wooden coffins (cheap!)
- Assigned servants to these new coffins
- Picked up the filled coffins like regular items
- Rode my horse to the new castle in 40 seconds flat
- Placed coffins down – servants instantly available!
Couldn’t believe I never noticed this before. No escort missions, no servant deaths, just pure efficiency.

Final Time Savings
That initial 10-servant move? Took me under 8 minutes total with the coffin method versus nearly an hour before. Did three castle reorganizations since finding this trick. Saved over 4 hours of boring walks already!
Pro tips: Use higher tier coffins if you have them – they move same speed as basic ones. And always place all coffins before assigning servants to avoid weird pathing bugs. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got 20 vampire minions to relocate before breakfast!
