Alright, so you’re looking to get your hands on Leftovers in Pokemon Scarlet, eh? Lemme tell ya, it wasn’t exactly handed to me on a silver platter when I first started out. I figured, “How hard can it be?” Well, a bit more of a runaround than I initially thought.

My First Few Go-Arounds
First thing I did, naturally, was just wander about. You know, picking up all those sparkly things on the ground. Found tons of Berries, some Potions, the usual stuff. I spent a good while in the early areas, especially around South Province (Area One and Two), thinking one would just pop up. Nope. Not a single Leftovers in sight. I was getting a bit miffed, ’cause, you know, Leftovers are pretty handy to have early on if you can snag ’em.
Then I remembered hearing about Tera Raids. Figured, “Okay, maybe I can get lucky with a raid reward.” So, I jumped into a few of those. Got some EXP Candies, some other materials, but no Leftovers. It felt like a long shot anyway, relying on raid drops for something specific like that. Can’t say I didn’t try, though!
The Delibird Presents Tip
After a bit of this, I was chatting with some folks online, and someone mentioned Delibird Presents. You know those red shops scattered around Paldea? My first thought was, “Yeah, but they just sell regular Pokeballs and Potions, right?” Turns out, I was only half right.
Someone specifically pointed out the Delibird Presents shop in Cascarrafa. That’s the city with all the big water wheels, kinda cool looking. They said that particular branch sells battle items. So, I hoofed it over there, full of hope. Walked in, talked to the clerk, and… still no Leftovers on the list! I was like, “Are you kidding me?”
The Catch and Finally Getting It
Here’s the thing they didn’t mention upfront, or maybe I just missed it. It seems like the good stuff at that Delibird Presents, including Leftovers, only unlocks after you’ve made some decent progress in the game. I think it was after I beat around four or maybe six Gym Leaders. I can’t pinpoint the exact moment, but I went back to that same shop in Cascarrafa later in my journey, and boom, there it was on the list!

It wasn’t cheap, mind you. Cost me a cool 20,000 Pokédollars. So, you gotta save up a bit or sell some treasures. But hey, at least I finally had a reliable way to get ’em.
- First, make sure you’ve beaten a good chunk of the Gyms. I’d say at least four, maybe more to be safe.
- Then, head to Cascarrafa.
- Find the Delibird Presents shop there. It’s the one that has a different inventory from the others.
- Check the “Battle Items” section (or whatever it’s called). Leftovers should be there if you’ve progressed enough.
Other Rumors and Finds
Now, I did hear a whisper that there’s one you can find out in the wild somewhere, like a static item pickup. I think someone said East Province (Area Three), near a specific tree by the coast. I vaguely remember picking something up around there early on that might have been it, but if it was, it was a one-time deal, and honestly, my memory’s a bit fuzzy on that one. It’s not something you can farm, that’s for sure.
So, if you need more than one, or if you missed that potential wild one, that Cascarrafa Delibird Presents is your most solid bet once you’ve unlocked it. Just gotta play through the story a bit. A bit of a pain you can’t just buy it from the get-go, but that’s how these games go sometimes, right? Keeps you playing, I guess.
Anyway, that was my journey to snagging Leftovers. Hope it helps you get yours a bit quicker than I got mine!
