Berserk Vol 41: What to Expect From the New Volume?

Must read

Alright, so I finally got my hands on Berserk Volume 41. Been waiting forever, right?

Berserk Vol 41: What to Expect From the New Volume?

First thing I did was rip open the package. I pre-ordered this bad boy months ago, so the anticipation was killing me. I gave the cover a good look – Miura’s art is just insane, even posthumously. You can tell his assistants really put their heart into finishing it.

Then, I brewed myself a cup of coffee. Gotta have that ritual, you know? Something strong and black. Set up my reading spot – comfy chair, good lighting, no distractions. Phone on silent, the whole nine yards.

Started flipping through the pages slowly, just absorbing the artwork. The detail in the monsters, the expressions on the characters’ faces… it’s mind-blowing. I swear you can almost feel the weight of Guts’ Dragonslayer in some panels.

Read the whole thing in one sitting, couldn’t put it down. The story picks up right where they left off, which is a relief. I was worried they’d jump around too much. There are some genuinely touching moments, especially with Casca and the rest of the crew.

After finishing, I just sat there for a while, letting it all sink in. It’s bittersweet, knowing it’s not fully Miura’s work, but it’s still a damn good continuation. I’m glad they decided to keep the story going. It feels like a proper tribute to his legacy.

Next, I went back and reread certain sections, focusing on the smaller details I might have missed the first time. There are some really subtle hints at what might be coming next.

Finally, I added it to my shelf with the rest of my Berserk collection. It’s a little piece of history, you know? Something I’ll treasure for years to come.

Now I’m just waiting for the next volume. Hopefully, it won’t be another three years!
