Beat Void Threat Zero Hour Now with These Secret Tactics Inside

Must read

My Messy First Attempts

Okay so I loaded up Void Threat Zero Hour yesterday after seeing all the hype. Jumped straight into a match thinking, “How hard could it be?” Spoiler: Very hard. Got absolutely wrecked within like 3 minutes the first time. Those void spawn things just poured in and my defenses crumbled like old cookies.

Tried again immediately. Slightly better placement for my turrets this time. Lasted maybe 5 minutes? Then a massive wave hit one of my weak points and boom – game over again. Felt totally stuck. Was getting really annoyed, almost slammed my coffee mug down on the desk.

Finding Those Secret Tactics

After my fifth loss in a row, I went digging. Not through official guides – nah, those are useless for this specific mission. Scoured some forums, found a buried thread from a guy who cracked it weeks ago. He mentioned something about exploiting the void spawns’ “dumb moments” during phase shifts. Sounded crazy, but I was desperate.

Here’s what the secret sauce boiled down to:

  • Bait the Stupid Phase: Instead of building defenses near the gate early, set some cheap sacrificial turrets way off to the side in the first two minutes. Sounds crazy, right?

  • Watch the Dumb Dance: About 70% of the first wave gets distracted chasing these worthless turrets for like 20 seconds. They just stand there circling them confused!
  • Build Like Mad: That’s your golden window. While they’re being idiots over by the dummy turrets, I sprinted to the main choke points and dropped:
    • Two heavy cannons on overcharge.
    • Energy drain traps RIGHT behind them.
    • A quick repair drone hub tucked safely behind a rock.

Putting It Into Action

Loaded back in. My hands were kinda shaky. First minute: Plopped down two dinky buzzsaw turrets way off on the left flank. Heart pounding waiting for that first wave notification. Saw the red blips… they rushed straight past the main path towards my dummy turrets!

Heard the “they’re distracted!” sound cue. Legit yelled “YES!” out loud, probably scared the neighbors. Hammered the build menu buttons like a madman setting up the cannon-drain combo at the main gate entrance.

Worked beautifully. The distracted swarm took ages to finally destroy the dummy turrets. By the time they lumbered back towards the main gate, my cannons and traps were fully online. They hit the drain fields – slowed to a crawl – and got absolutely chewed up. It felt so damn good.

Managed resources carefully after that initial rush. Focused fire upgrades on the cannons and kept the drain traps repaired. Final wave? Tanky, but my setup shredded it. Victory screen popped. Cue the biggest sigh of relief ever. Beat it on the first try after figuring out that distraction trick. Deleted the game right after. Needed a serious break.
