Okay, so I had this crazy idea to visit 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco. You know, the home of the Giants, Oracle Park. I’m a huge baseball fan, and this place has been on my bucket list forever.

Getting There
First off, I started researching how to get there. Public transport seemed like a good bet, so I looked up the Muni and BART options. I found that the N Judah and T Third Street light rail lines stop right near the ballpark.
The Journey
I decided to take the T Third Street line from downtown. The ride was pretty smooth, and I enjoyed looking at the city go by. As we got closer to the ballpark, I started seeing more and more people in Giants gear. The excitement was building!
Arriving at the Ballpark
I got off the train at the 2nd and King stop, and there it was! Oracle Park, in all its glory. I walked around, soaking in the atmosphere. I found the Willie Mays statue right at the entrance, at 24 Willie Mays Plaza, just like I planned.
Exploring the Area
I spent some time walking around the area. I checked out the views of the bay. It was a beautiful day, and the whole place was buzzing with energy.
Reflecting on the Experience
After taking lots of photos and just enjoying the moment, I decided to head back. It might not be super exciting, but standing in front of 24 Willie Mays Plaza was a memorable moment for me. This trip was a simple but really fun adventure. It just goes to show that sometimes, the best experiences are the ones you plan yourself, from start to finish.
