Okay, so the GO Battle League season just wrapped up, and like always, I was pretty keen to see what goodies I’d get for all that tapping and battling.
My Reward Claiming Routine
First thing I did, obviously, was boot up Pokémon GO. Had to wait a few seconds for everything to load in, you know how it is.
Then, I headed straight over to the Battle screen. That’s where the magic happens, right? As soon as I tapped it, bam, there was the notification. Big button telling me the season ended and rewards were ready.
I tapped that button. Always feels a bit like opening a present, even though you kinda know what’s coming.
The screen popped up, and the first thing, always the Stardust. It showed my final rank – landed at Ace again this time around, not bad – and then the Stardust started piling up. It’s a nice chunk, always useful. Watched the number climb for a bit.
After the dust settled, literally, the next screen showed the items.
- Got a few Fast TMs. Threw them onto the pile with the others.
- Got some Charged TMs too. Always good to have, never know when you need to fix a bad moveset.
- And the important one, the Elite Charged TM. Definitely holding onto that one carefully. Got a few candidates in mind for it already.
Sometimes there’s an encounter tied to the rank, but I didn’t get one this time based on where I finished, I think. Just the items and Stardust.
And… that was it, really. Tapped through the confirmation screens. The whole process took maybe a minute tops. Felt pretty good getting that Stardust boost and the Elite TM is always the main prize for me.
Now the rank’s reset and it’s time to start the climb all over again in the new season. Gotta check out the new rules and maybe try some different teams. Back to the grind!
