Okay, so I wanted to dig into Alex Bowman’s stats. I’ve always thought he was a pretty solid driver, but I wanted to see if the numbers backed that up. Here’s how I went about it, and what I found.
Start the Research
First, I started to collect the stats. I needed a place that had everything, and easy to use.
Gathering Data
I spent some time going through the different seasons.
- Wins: Find out the races.
- Top 5s and Top 10s: See how consistently he finished near the front.
- Average Start and Finish: Get an overall sense.
- Laps Led: Find out how often he’s actually leading races.
Look closer to the Data
Once I had all the numbers, I started breaking. I compared his earlier seasons to his more recent performance. It show how he’s developed over time.
Put it all together
After all that digging and number-crunching, I started to see some patterns. Consistent, and getting better, but winning races, That kind of thing.
