Okay so I’ve been checking college basketball recruiting like every single day recently. Needed to know what’s cooking with top recruits before anyone else. Kept hearing friends talk about some scoop Adam Zagoria broke while I was sitting there clueless. Got me crazy.
Started Messing Around
First thing I did? Straight up googled “Adam Zagoria latest news”. Boom. Millions of results. Clicks on first few links:
- Old articles. Like weeks old. Useless.
- Some weird spammy sites wanting my email. Nope.

Setup My Own Pipeline
Knew Twitter was the spot. But who wants to refresh some profile all day? Not me. Figured out notifications:
- Followed his profile properly
- Clicked the bell icon thing
- Set it to “All Tweets” not just “Top” junk
Tested it. Got a ping later that day about some point guard narrowing choices. Boom. Knew before my group chat blew up. Felt amazing.
Now What?
Got this working for maybe two days now. Life-changing. Seriously. Feels like I’ve got some insider info trick:
- Phone buzzes
- Check it
- Get Adam’s new blurb
- Share with friends BEFORE they see it elsewhere
Makes me the news guy. Everyone suddenly asking me what’s good.
Way better than endless clicking and being late all the time. Simple fix for a big annoyance.
