Okay, so I’ve been messing around with bikes lately, trying to learn some cool tricks. It’s way harder than it looks, but super fun. Here’s how it’s been going:

Getting Started
First thing, I dusted off my old mountain bike. It’s nothing fancy, just a basic one I’ve had for years. I made sure the tires were pumped up and the brakes were working – safety first, you know?
The Bunny Hop Struggle
The first trick I tried to learn was the bunny hop. Everyone says it’s the foundation for everything else, so I figured I’d start there. I watched a bunch of videos online, and it looked so easy. Just pull up on the handlebars and lift the back wheel, right?
- Attempt 1: Total fail. I barely got the front wheel off the ground, and the back wheel stayed firmly planted.
- Attempt 2: Slightly better, but still no hop. I felt like I was going to flip over.
- Attempt 100: Still not perfect, but I started to get a little air. It’s all about timing and using your whole body, not just your arms.
Wheelies and Wobbles
After getting somewhat okay at bunny hops (still working on it!), I decided to try a wheelie. Again, looked easy in the videos. I leaned back, pedaled hard, and… almost fell on my butt. I realized you need to find that balance point, which is way trickier than it seems.
- Lots of wobbling.
- A few near-crashes.
- Slowly getting the hang of controlling the bike while on one wheel. It is hard!
Next step
I keep practicing and keep falling,I have to say it is not easy to learn the bike stunts, but it is fun. I will keep trying!
