Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with creating a poll, a simple one, and I stumbled upon this site, *. I’d never used it before, so I figured, why not give it a shot and document the whole process?

Getting Started
First things first, I opened up my browser and typed in the website. The homepage was pretty basic, nothing fancy. It just showed me a simple form to start creating my poll right away.
Creating the Poll
There was this big box where I typed in the question I wanted to ask. I went with something simple like, “What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?” You know, keep it light and fun.
Then, below that, there were a bunch of smaller boxes for the answer options. I started filling them in: Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip… I added like, five or six options. I could add more by clicking on the “Add Option” button.
Setting Things Up
After I put in all the choices, I looked around for some settings. There were a few checkboxes.
- One was about allowing multiple choices, but I decided to keep it to just one vote per person.
- Another checkbox was about showing results, I chose to hide the results.
- I ignored other settings.
Finishing Up and Sharing
Once I felt good about everything, I clicked on the button that said, I forget its name now, I think it’s something like “Create Poll.” The site did its thing for a few seconds, and then boom, it gave me a new page that showed my created poll.

That’s really all there was to it! It was super straightforward, and I can see myself using this again for quick little polls in the future.
I didn’t dive into any advanced features or anything, but for a basic poll, it did the trick perfectly.
