Okay, so today I decided to check out this match, Santa Fe vs América de Cali. I’ve heard some buzz about it, so I figured, why not give it a shot? I’m not a huge soccer fanatic or anything, but I do enjoy a good game every now and then.
First things first, I needed to find a way to watch it. I don’t have cable, and even if I did, I doubt this game would be on any of the regular channels. So, I started searching around online. I tried a few different streaming sites and apps, but most of them were either super sketchy or required some kind of subscription I wasn’t willing to commit to.
After a bit of digging, I found, well, nothing is perfect, and there were a few hiccups with buffering here and there, but overall, it got the job done. I was finally able to watch the game!
The Game Itself
I gotta say, the atmosphere was pretty intense. Even though I was just watching on my computer, you could feel the energy of the fans. Lots of chanting and cheering, it definitely made the whole experience more exciting.

First Half:
The begining was a bit of a back-and-forth. Both teams had some decent chances, but no one could quite find the back of the net. I remember thinking, “Okay, this is gonna be a tight one.”

Second Half:
Things started to pick up. There were a couple of close calls, and the tension was definitely building. It was still anyone’s game.
I won’t spoil the ending for anyone who might want to watch a replay, but let’s just say it was a pretty exciting finish. There were some controversial moments, and the final score was super close.
In the end, it was definately a pretty good experience watching a game, hope next one will be soon!
