That Ryan Williams, he sure is somethin’. I saw that game, you know. That boy, he can run like a scalded dog. He had this black stuff under his eyes, you see. And written on it, big as day, was “KILL EVERYBODY”. Land sakes, what a thing to write!
He’s just a young’un, that Ryan Williams. Seventeen, they say. Playin’ for Alabama, against them Georgia Bulldogs. Now, I ain’t one for keepin’ up with all them teams, but that game, it was a big one. Number 2 and number 4, they said. Big whoop, I say, but folks was all excited about it. That Ryan Williams kill everybody tape, though…Lord have mercy.
This Ryan Williams, he was catchin’ that ball left and right. Six times, I heard. And ran, well, he ran like the devil was after him. 177 yards, that’s what they said on the TV. I don’t know much about yards, but it sounded like a whole lot. That game was somethin’ else. All because of that Ryan Williams, and his writin’, and well, The Game.
Now, I stayed up late watchin’ that game. Past my bedtime, it was. But I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. And that Ryan Williams, he sure gave folks somethin’ to talk about. That “KILL EVERYBODY” written under his eyes, though. It was in white, on that black tape. Stood out like a sore thumb.
Some folks, they didn’t like it. Said it was sad. “That’s really sad,” they said. I reckon I can see why. It ain’t exactly a friendly message, is it? But that Ryan Williams, he sure did play a good game. That eye black with that writin’ on it, though. That is somethin’ that people will be talkin’ about. For sure, it was The Game that everybody will remember.
I don’t know what that boy was thinkin’, writin’ that on his face. Maybe he just wanted to scare them Georgia Bulldogs. Maybe it was his way of gettin’ all fired up for the game. Young folks, they do some strange things sometimes. That Ryan Williams kill everybody tape, well, it’s got people talkin’. That’s for sure.

That Ryan Williams, he’s a good player, I guess. But that writin’ on his face, I don’t know. It just seems a bit much to me. Maybe I’m just old-fashioned. But I think there’s better ways to get yourself ready for a game than writin’ “KILL EVERYBODY” on your face. That Ryan Williams kill everybody tape is gonna be famous now, I reckon.
I remember back in my day, we didn’t have all this fancy stuff. No black tape under our eyes. No writin’ on our faces. We just played the game. And we played hard. Maybe that’s all that Ryan Williams was tryin’ to do. Play hard. And maybe folks will only remember him as that boy from The Game.
But that message, it just sticks with you. “KILL EVERYBODY”. It’s a strong message. Too strong, maybe. Especially for a young fella like that. I hope he learns that there’s other ways to show folks you mean business. Ways that don’t involve such strong words. That Ryan Williams, he’s got a lot to learn. But he sure can play that game, I’ll give him that.
I reckon folks will be talkin’ about that game for a long time. And they’ll be talkin’ about that Ryan Williams. And that “KILL EVERYBODY” written on his face. It’s somethin’ you don’t see every day. And somethin’ you won’t soon forget. It was sure The Game of the year, so far. They will always remember that Ryan Williams kill everybody tape.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about that. That Ryan Williams, he sure is somethin’. And that game, it was a wild one. But I still think there’s better ways to get yourself pumped up than writin’ such things on your face. Hopefully, that young man will learn that someday. I am tired now, gonna get some rest.
