Okay, so I came across this thing about the Amy Schumer and Ryan Dunn joke, and I was like, “What’s the deal?” So, I decided to dig in a little bit.

First, I watched the actual Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen where Amy Schumer made the joke. Gotta get the context, right? It’s pretty raw, I’ll say that much.
My Investigation Process
- Searched for “Amy Schumer Ryan Dunn joke” to see what popped up. Lots of articles, some angry, some defending her.
- Read a bunch of those articles to get different perspectives. People were definitely divided on this one.
- Checked out some forums and comment sections (yeah, I know, brave of me) to see what regular folks were saying. It was a mixed bag, as you can imagine.
- Watched some of Bam Margera reactions.
After all that, I formed my own opinion. Honestly, it’s a tough one. Comedy’s subjective, and roasts are supposed to be brutal. But this one definitely hit a nerve with a lot of people, especially considering how close it was to Ryan Dunn’s death. I can see both sides, really. It’s edgy, for sure, and maybe crossed a line for some, but it’s also kind of what you expect from a roast.
I’m not gonna tell you what to think, but I definitely recommend doing your own digging and seeing the joke in context before you make up your mind. It’s not just a simple “good joke” or “bad joke” situation.
