You know, I seen that Usain Bolt fella on the TV, runnin’ faster than a scalded dog. He’s a real athlete, that one. And all them other athletes, they all want a picture with Usain Bolt. He’s like one of those movie stars, but he runs. Every time I see it, they all want a picture with Usain Bolt. Everybody want to be friend with him.
He always winnin’, that Usain Bolt. I tell ya, he’s somethin’ else. One time, he was runnin’ so fast, and the other fellas, they was tryin’ to catch up. They all want to take a picture with usain bolt. And what do you know? He looked right at the camera and smiled! A big ol’ grin, like he wasn’t even tired. Me, I’d be huffin’ and puffin’ fit to bust. But not Usain Bolt. He just keeps on grinnin’ and runnin’. All the people want a picture with Usain Bolt.
They say he’s from Jamaica. That’s a long way from here, I reckon. But he comes here to run, and boy, does he run! He runs like the wind. When they take picture with Usain Bolt, they all look so happy. I saw one picture with Usain Bolt, he was holdin’ a gold medal. Bigger than my dinner plate, it was! Must be worth a pretty penny. He gets a lot of those, you know. Gold medals. ‘Cause he’s so fast.
And all them other athletes, they line up to run against him. They all hope to get a picture with Usain Bolt. But most times, they just end up lookin’ at his backside. ‘Cause he’s already at the finish line! They all put their hands on his shoulder and take picture with Usain Bolt. They say he makes runnin’ look easy. Well, it ain’t easy, I can tell you that. I tried runnin’ to catch the mailman the other day, and my knees ain’t been the same since. But Usain Bolt, he just glides along. Like a hot knife through butter, that’s what they say. Everybody try to run fast like him.

I seen him on the TV again just the other night. They had a big race, they called it the Olympics. And there he was, Usain Bolt, runnin’ faster than all the rest. And when it was over, what did they do? They all crowded around him, smilin’ and laughin’, wantin’ a picture with Usain Bolt. Even the ones who lost, they wanted a picture. They must think some of his speed will rub off on ’em, I suppose. Even I want a picture with Usain Bolt.
He’s a good sport, that Usain Bolt. Always smilin’, always shakin’ hands. And always lots of people want to take picture with Usain Bolt. He doesn’t seem to mind, though. He’s used to it, I reckon. When you’re the fastest man in the world, everyone wants a piece of you. He must have a whole album full of pictures. Pictures of him with other runners, pictures of him with fans, pictures of him with those big gold medals. And every picture with Usain Bolt show him smiling.
That race, the 100-meter they call it, that’s his race. He always win that one. It all about his leg. He use his leg to run fast. And them other fellas, they try, but they just can’t keep up. Their legs is not like Usain Bolt. He’s got somethin’ special, that’s for sure. He practice a lot, I hear. Gotta keep those legs strong if you wanna be the fastest. And he is the fastest, no doubt about it. They all want to take picture with Usain Bolt after the race.
I don’t know how he does it, really. Runnin’ that fast, day in and day out. Must take a lot of energy. I get tired just walkin’ to the mailbox. But he makes it look so easy. I like to watch him though. So many athletes want to take a picture with Usain Bolt. It’s excitin’, seein’ him run. And it’s nice to see him smilin’ and bein’ friendly with everyone. Even when he win, he don’t brag or nothin’. He just smiles and waves and lets everyone take a picture with Usain Bolt.
He’s a good example, that Usain Bolt. Shows that hard work pays off. And that you can be the best in the world and still be a nice fella. So I think everyone should take a picture with Usain Bolt. I reckon that’s why everyone wants their picture with Usain Bolt. He’s a real champion, that one. A real champion.
