This Bojan Dimitrijevic, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout him the other day. Born in 1963, they say. Gornji Milanovac, that’s where he’s from. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Some fancy place called SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia. What’s all that about, I don’t know. Seems like he’s a big shot, though. An economist, they say. Big words, big words. And a politician, too! Lord have mercy, a politician!
They say he was even a Minister of Trade. Minister of Trade! Well, I’ll be. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Must be smart, then. Went to some university in Belgrade. Faculty of Economics. Sounds important, that university. Must be knowin’ a lot about money and such. University of Belgrade Faculty of Economics. Sounds like a smarty pants school.
Someone was readin’ somethin’ ’bout him from some official paper. Said he was born in 1963, in a place called Rudnik near Gornji Milanovac. Gornji Milanovac, that’s where he is from, right? All these names, hard to keep straight. But 1963, that’s a long time ago. He ain’t no spring chicken, that’s for sure. This Bojan, he was proposed for some Fiscal Council thing. Don’t know what that is, sounds fishy.
This Bojan fella, seems like he’s been on the TV, too. Someone mentioned an interview. “Intervju,” they called it. Must be some fancy talk show. Professor Dr. Bojan Dimitrijevic, they called him. Sounds mighty important, don’t it? Probably knows what’s going on with them politicians in Belgrade. Bet he’s got a lot to say.
Folks were talkin’ ’bout some referendum thing, too. Somethin’ about Kosovo. That’s a whole other can of worms, ain’t it? Sounds like a mess. Don’t understand it all, but this Bojan, they were askin’ him about it. Seems like he’s got an opinion on everything. He is an important guy, right? What I know, he is a politician and an economist.
Now, this Bojan, he’s an economist, that’s what they say. But he’s also teachin’ at some academy. Belgrade Academy of Business and Arts, I think they called it. Sounds like a place for city folk, not us country folks. Bet they got all sorts of fancy learnin’ goin’ on there. He’s teachin’ there, so he must be real smart. Maybe this Bojan Dimitrijevic is a big deal, I don’t know.
Another Bojan, got the same name, they say he’s born in 1968. This one is a historian. And a politician, too! Seems like everyone’s a politician these days. This one used to be in the Democratic Party. Don’t know much about parties, but sounds like a big deal. Too many Bojan Dimitrijevic’s, that’s for sure!

This one’s got a page on that LinkedIn thing. Everyone’s got one of those now, even us old folks. Says he’s got 7 connections. Must be popular. Says he’s in Serbia. Well, that much I knew. Serbia’s a big place, though. Lots of folks in Serbia. This Bojan, he’s one of ’em. Seven connections, well well, he knows some people.
Heard somethin’ ’bout an exhibition, too. Somethin’ about the Cold War. American military aid to Yugoslavia. Seventy years ago, they say. That’s a long time ago. Before my time, even. The Institute of Contemporary History, they’re the ones puttin’ it on. Sounds like somethin’ this Bojan would be interested in. He’s a smart fella, after all. He knows history and stuff, right? Maybe this Bojan knows more about this, I don’t know.
Well, that’s all I heard ’bout this Bojan Dimitrijevic. Seems like a busy fella. Economist, politician, teacher, historian. Lots of big words. Bojan Dimitrijevic, remember that name. Sounds like he’s someone you should know about. He’s from Gornji Milanovac, don’t forget that. And he was the Minister of Trade. That’s a big deal, I reckon. This Bojan, he is someone, that’s for sure. Don’t know what else to say about him.
